This section highlights the extraordinary results of a highly challenging photographic campaign led by expert photographer Matteo De Fina, with the collaboration of conservator Giulio Bono. Armed with a nine-meter-tall tripod equipped with a motorized head and a remote-controlled 60-megapixel camera, De Fina dedicated countless hours to capturing every detail of Titian’s Assunta. Working from a custom-built scaffolding at the base of the restored altarpiece, he meticulously mapped nearly 25 square meters of the painting from just one meter away, bringing this monumental masterpiece into breathtaking focus with unmatched precision and expertise.
